Frashley Future?

Just when I thought I have seen all the good movies and read all the great books, that there was nothing fabulous left for me to discover, I learn about Grey Gardens. I was reading the November Vogue at work Friday morning and I see a musical has opened up of Grey Gardens. I had heard of Grey Gardens before but never when what it was so I googled it. Grey Gardens is a 1970s documentry made about "Big" Edie Beale and her daughter "Little" Edie Beale. Big Edie was Jackie Kennedy Onasis' Aunt and Little Edie was Jackie O's cousin. They lived a reclusive lifestyle in their enormous East Hampton mansion. The mansion was full of cats and they basically lived in squalor. Big Edie and Little Edie were fabulously ecentric. I have got to order the DVD from amazon. I must see it soon! In fact, I would put it on my new updated Christmas Wish List. I can just see me and Ashley as old ladies living with a bunch of cats in a fabulous house, me wearing my Pucci scarf, Ashley carrying her Dooney and Bourke bag around the house for no reason...
This picture actually reminds me a lot of Dorothy. My Mom and I met Dorothy in the early 90s in a thrift store. She started talking to me because I had on my riding clothes. Dorothy raises horses, Saddlebreds to be specific. She actually resembles "Big" Edie a bit. Dorothy was a reporter for the Anderson Independent Mail for years and years.

I've seen the film, and "squalor" doesn't begin to come close.

On the other hand, if ya'll decide to go that route, maybe I could be your Max von Mayerling?

Lets just turn The Brock Brown home into a habitat for you, The Frashleys, Morgan, Eloise Marie, and Ricky, then just pick up a few more stray cats and play dress up all day.
