A Pig's Life
Sunday night I recieved a frantic phone call from my Mom. She heard the dogs barking and went outside. Much to her surprise a pig was in the backyard. The pig was just chilling with our horses. She didn't know what to do with the pig, if it was wild, if it would tear up stuff in our yard, if it was hungry and she should feed it, what to feed it and so forth. I told Shawn about the pig guest and he decided he would come over to my Mom's house to help her (could he be any sweeter) with it. He was looking forward to seeing the pig, but by the time he pulled his car onto my road the pig had dissapeared into the woods.
Tonight I got another, less frantic, phone call from Mom. The pig is back. We now think he wants to become one of our pets. The pig must sense that animals get a lot of attention at our house. I have animals instead of brothers and sisters. The "fur kids" is what we call them. Again tonight the pig hung out for awhile and then wandered off into the forest. I am now worried for the pig, is it cold, is it hungry? I hope Piggy is okay.

It seems to want to stick around and it is going to be a pet, not bacon, Joe!! Tonight he is getting dog food and italian cut green beans, tomorrow Piggy will be having cranberry sauce and peeled new potatoes.

He's probably chock-full of biological stuff like hookworms, rinderpest and pork rinds. Smoked bacon is your safest bet ... and my, wouldn't that be a tasty treat just in time for the holidays?

Very good playlist selection, PR. Piggy wants to be a pet, I am sure of it. We are thinkig of naming him Barnabus is it is a boy (think Barnabus Collins) or Leilani if it is a girl pig.
